In 1972 a group of people met at Broxtowe College and decided there was sufficient interest to form a Local History Society.
Currently we have a membership of around 125 members.
Meetings are held at Chilwell Memorial Hall, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at 7:30 p.m.
