Hall improvements and new facilities

We glad to announce improvements to the hall for all users is complete. Work has changed the kitchen entrance and moved the user storage room to the old passage space. We have now a new purpose build changing room with toilet and shower for all indoor and outdoor users. Importantly, facilities are all wheelchair user friendly. We have also altered the side entrance ready for the installation of a wheelchair ramp, which is next year’s project.

We welcome any feedback about the improvements, please provide any comments using this form.

This work is proudly sponsored by CMI, Garfield and Weston Foundation, and Nottinghamshire County Council Local Community Fund.

Centenary Celebrations

It is our 100th birthday. The Hall was opened in May 1924 to commemorate the fallen of the First World War and serve the Chilwell community.

Please Note:

Our Centenary Exhibition will remain in place for the whole of May. You can visit during members activities in the hall or outside (please refer to calendar), or by dropping us a message on our contact form.

It is an amazing history of Chilwell and the Hall and you should not miss out. If you have any information or memories of the Hall please let us know.

More to come

There will be more centenary event throughout the year, including 100th AGM and Quiz Night; details to follow soon.
