HOW DO I BOOK THE HALL?

Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions of Hire on the Booking and Enquires page on our website.

Check for availability using the indoor hall calendar on our website’s Booking and Enquiries page.

You can make a booking enquiry via the website or send an email giving the details to enquires@chilwellmemorialhall.org

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE ACCOMMODATED IN THE HALL?

The Hall can accommodate 100 people.

WHAT ARE THE CHARGES FOR HIRING THE HALL?

The charge for the hire of the hall is £25.00 per hour

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE BOOKING?

Payment is required in full 14 days before the day of the hire. You can pay by electronic transfer to:

You can pay by cash or cheque by arrangement with the hire secretary.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

A damage waiver deposit of £50.00 is required. This sum of money, in cash, is to be handed over to the Trustees representative at the beginning of the hire. In the event of loss or damage the costs will be retained from the damage waiver deposit. The deposit will be returned if there is no loss or damage to the hall or its contents.

HOW WILL I GET INTO THE HALL FOR THE BOOKING?

A representative from the Trustees will come to open the hall for you at your booking time.

DOES THE HALL HAVE A KITCHEN?

There is a kitchen available which contains a cooker, water heater, sink, fridge and microwave.

CAN WE GET INTO THE HALL EARLY TO SET UP?

No, the setting up and clearing away time must be included in the overall time hired and be paid for as part of the whole booking.

CAN WE SELL ALCOHOL?

No. If alcohol is to be sold then the hirer must obtain the necessary licence from the Local Authority. Alcohol can be consumed within the Hall so long as it is provided free of charge to guests at your event or alcohol can be brought in by guests for their own consumption during your event.

WHAT IS THE LATEST TIME THAT THE HALL CAN BE USED?

Hirers must vacate the hall by 11:00pm.

IS THERE CLEANING EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE?

Yes, a dust pan and brush, a broom  and anti-bacterial sprays and wipes are available for you to use.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH RUBBISH?

There is commercial bin outside by the side gate.

CAN WE HIRE THE HALLS FOR TEENAGER PARTIES?

No.
